Experience

Dr. Dana Haddad is the UAE’s first and only American Board-Certified Consultant Breast and Interventional Radiologist, with over 15 years of international experience in breast imaging and cancer diagnosis. Her expertise includes mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, and minimally invasive image-guided breast interventions.

She completed advanced fellowship training in Breast and Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, following Diagnostic Radiology residency training at Columbia University-affiliated hospitals and earlier surgical training at Mayo Clinic. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a PhD in Cancer Biology and Imaging and completed executive leadership training through the Radiology Leadership Institute, in affiliation with Harvard University.

Dr. Dana has held academic and clinical roles at leading U.S. institutions, including Montefiore Medical Center and Northwell Health, and has served in senior leadership positions in breast imaging in Dubai. She now leads the Breast Imaging Department at HealthBay Polyclinic. She is actively involved in research, education, and innovation, with a particular interest in personalized screening strategies and the integration of artificial intelligence in breast imaging, and regularly presents at regional and international conferences.

Dr. Dana is personally committed to her patients and is passionate about advancing women’s health and preventive care in the UAE and the wider region.
