Experience

Dr Arsheena Mohamed is a Consultant Rheumatologist and GCAA-approved specialist aeromedical examiner for Rheumatology in Dubai. She completed her higher specialist rheumatology training in London at various internationally renowned tertiary centers including Royal Free Hospital, Barts Health and the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital. Her postgraduate medical training was in the East of England, and she worked as a consultant at Ipswich Hospital, UK, prior to moving to the UAE.

Her research experience includes a fellowship at Cambridge University Hospital studying the role of patient education in early inflammatory arthritis, as well as scleroderma research at the Royal Free Hospital, London.

She also served as adjunct associate professor for Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and health sciences in UAE for 7 years. Her awards include the National Travelling Fellowship by the British Society of Rheumatology and the EULAR Bursary Award by the European League Against Rheumatism. She is a member of the Emirates Society for Rheumatology, the British Medical Association, the Royal College of Physicians, and the British Society of Rheumatology.
