GARDASIL 9 helps protect individuals against diseases caused by nine types of HPV: cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in females, anal cancer, some types of head and neck cancers and genital warts in both males and females.

For patients aged 9 to 14 years:

The vaccine can be administered in a 2-dose or 3-dose schedule. The second shot should be given within 6 to 12 months after the first shot. If the second shot is given in less than five months after the first shot, a third shot should be administered at least four months after the second shot.

For the 3-dose schedule, the second dose is given two months after the first shot, and the third dose should be given six months after the first shot.

For patients aged 15 to 45 years:

GARDASIL 9 is administered in a 3-dose schedule. The second dose should be given two months after the first shot, and the third dose is given six months after the first shot.
