Experience

Dr. Shahida is a UK trained Family Medicine Consultant. Before moving to Dubai, she worked as a Family Medicine Consultant in Norwich, UK. She is a well-rounded clinician with over 14 years of experience and is able to meet all of your family’s health needs. She believes in providing holistic and family centred health care.

Dr. Shahida graduated as a Doctor in 2007 and had further training in Paediatrics in London and Surgery/Orthopedics in Bury St Edmunds. In 2010 she was selected for Family Medicine training in Cambridge, during which she was formally trained in internal medicine, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine and primary care. After completing her training at the Royal College, she attained her MRCGP and CCT in Family Medicine in 2014.

After her training, she has worked in Norwich, UK, providing care in all areas of physical and mental health, including women’s health, acute and chronic conditions, mental health illnesses, paediatrics, until she moved to Dubai.

She was also appointed as a Tutor/Honorary Lecturer by the University of East Anglia and actively taught medical students and residents attached to her clinic. She moved to Dubai in 2019 with her husband and two daughters. She loves exploring Dubai, gardening and dancing.
