Dr. Rita Kovesdi is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician with a distinguished medical background spanning over three decades. She earned her medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, in 1986, and went on to specialize in Paediatrics in 1990. Her dedication to children’s health led her to further attain a Specialist Degree in Infectious Diseases in 1993.
Dr. Kovesdi has enriched her expertise through international experience, having studied bone marrow transplantation at St. Anna’s Children Hospital in Vienna, Austria, and pursued advanced training at the Hematology Institute of Rome University in Italy. She was also awarded a prestigious fellowship by the European Council in Strasbourg.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Kovesdi is an approved medical examiner for Canadian Immigration services, bringing a global perspective to her practice. She is well-known for her warm, thorough, and family-centred approach to paediatric care.
