Dr. Naila Alam is a British, UK trained Consultant in Family Medicine. She qualified from Royal Free & University College London in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) and a degree in Pharmacology (BSc Hons). She went on to complete her Family Medicine training (nMRCGP, CCT) in her hometown of Manchester in 2010, where she was able to gain a leading position as a Partner in a busy inter-city practice, before moving to Dubai in 2014.
Dr. Naila is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and continues to hold a full-time license with the UK General Medical Council (GMC) as well as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). She has postgraduate qualifications in Family Planning & Sexual Health (DFSRH), Medical Education & Leadership in Healthcare.
Dr. Naila continues to challenge and develop her expertise in all areas of Medicine, with a special emphasis on Child Health, Mental Health, Women’s Health and Preventative/Lifestyle Medicine. She is trained in Cervical Cytology (Pap smears), minor surgery including cryotherapy, Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Life Support (ALS).
