With a rich career spanning Hungary, the UK, and the UAE, Dr. Kalmar is a distinguished professional. She graduated from the University of Pecs, Hungary, in 1997 and completed surgical training in Hungary and Scotland. Having earned two fellowships in colorectal surgery and proctology at St Mark’s Hospital in London, Dr. Kalmar is an Associate Professor at the University of Pecs. With over 29 years of experience, she focuses on diseases of the rectum and anus, excelling in proctology and functional coloproctological diseases. Her decade-long practice in the UAE, particularly at Mediclinic, showcases her dedication to advancing proctological care. Dr. Kalmar’s expertise spans from basic to complex treatments, making her a leading authority in her field.
