Experience

Dr. Marek Sepiolo is European board certified in vascular surgery with 22 years of surgical experience. He specializes in varicose veins and chronic venous disease using cutting edge techniques (EVLT and RFA), diabetic foot and chronic/non-healing wounds, dialysis access (AV fistulas, catheter insertion for hemodialysis), peripheral artery bypass surgery and endovascular procedures, IVC filter placement, port-a-cath insertion for chemotherapy, wound care (diabetic foot, chronic and non-healing wounds), DVT and anticoagulation management.

Dr. Sepiolo received his medical degree in 1992 from the University of Medicine in Gdansk, Poland. He took his internship and residency in surgery at Medical University Hospital in Gdansk working there as an Assistant Professor in Surgery and receiving his Ph.D. in surgery from Medicine Faculty. He also received his foreign residency training at Klinikum Heidehaus, Department of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, Germany and had recently his training experience in vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Heart and Vascular Institute, Ohio, USA. Dr. Sepiolo completed his fellowship in vascular surgery and endovascular training program from the Specialist Hospital in Radom, where he was a consultant surgeon.

Dr. Sepiolo holds full specialist registration in vascular surgery with GMC, UK and worked as a vascular surgeon in Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. He is a member of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, the European Society for Vascular Surgery, American College of Phlebology and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

He is author or co-author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals on his clinical experience and research.
