Dr. Dana Haddad
Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist
Dr. Dana Haddad is an American Board-Certified Consultant Breast Radiologist with sub-specialty training in oncologic and breast imaging from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Haddad is proficient in all facets of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomography, in addition to procedures guided by these modalities. She has also trained specifically to assess women at high risk of developing breast cancer, such as patients with strong family history and those positive for the BRCA gene mutation, who require additional screening modalities.
Dr. Haddad completed a Ph.D. in the field of cancer imaging and therapy. Her research focused on the engineering of recombinant vaccinia viruses that target cancer and enable noninvasive imaging. Protocols are currently underway for clinical trials with these viruses. More recently, she has been working on a study to establish value-based imaging and improve the impact of breast screening, especially for high-risk populations. Dr. Haddad has completed courses in radiology through the Radiology Leadership Institute, affiliated with Harvard Business School. She serves as a peer reviewer for multiple leading international scientific journals and on several radiologic committees.
Dr. Haddad is personally committed to her patients and is passionate about Women’s health and preventative care.
