The Gastroenterology department at HealthBay provides prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all types of digestive conditions. Our Western trained Gastroneterologists provide a complete range of outpatient and endoscopy services to treat all aspects of gastroenterology, hepatology and pancreato-biliary diseases.

Our high-end Endoscopy suite located within our Day Care Surgery facility is equipped with the latest equipment to provide patients with accurate diagnosis and safe treatment of Gastroenterology conditions. The Gastroscopy (endoscopy of the upper gastrointestinal tract) is used to diagnose and treat reflux disease, ulcers, gastritis, polyps and celiac disease, among others.

The Colonoscopy (endoscopy of the lower GI tract and colon) is used for colon cancer prevention (removal of polyps), diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease, and evaluation of chronic diarrhoea or constipation. To ensure the safety of our patients we have an in-house Specialist Anaesthetist assisting our specialists during the procedures.
