The Clinic offers a high end Endoscopy suite with the newest
technique,The technical standard as well the hygienic standard are
excellent.
The Gastroscopy (Endoscopy of upper gastrointestinal tract)
is used for the Diagnose and treatment of reflux disease, ulcers, gastritis ,polyps,
celiac disease and many more conditions.
The Colonoscopy (Endoscopy of the lower GI tract;Colon) is
needed for colon cancer prevention (removal of polyps) diagnose of inflammatory
bowel disease, evaluation of chronic diarrhea or constipation.
Dr. Rolef and Dr. Klein are Gastroenterologists and excellent
trained Endoscopists.
Both are German board certified.
The patient sleeps during the procedures what makes it very
convenient , An Anesthetist ensures extra safety without using full
Anesthesia but so-called “deep sedation”.
All biopsies are send by courier to an expert (Prof. Soeren
Schroeder) in Germany to guarantee high quality in Pathology results also.
