Experience

Dr. Zsuzsanna Ricz is highly experienced in Paediatrics over 20 years and over 10 years in Paediatric Intensive Care and Anaesthesia, as working in teaching hospitals, at University Clinic in Budapest and in a Private Hospital in Hungary. She had been in a leadership position over 9 years as Head of Paediatrics and Neonatal care.

She is experienced in treating children with trauma and emergency situations and many rare diseases and serious conditions – as a member of the team of the Tertiary Neonatal and Pediatric Surgery Center at the Semmelweis Medical University Budapest, Hungary. She treated children with gastroenterological- , liver- , renal- , pulmonary problems, endocrine and metabolic diseases too.

She had been working at the Bronchology Department of Pest County Pulmonology Institute in Hungary and has completed her specialization in Paediatric Pulmonology in 2002. She gained experience in performing bronchoscopic evaluation and in treating children with congenital and acquired airway problems and pulmonary diseases like asthma, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis , congenital airway obstruction and foreign body inhalation. She has a special interest and experience in the diagnostic and therapeutic process of the most common Allergic conditions like asthma, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, , food and inhalant allergy, and eczema.

Prior to moving to Dubai, she had been working for 12 years at the Telki Private Hospital –the biggest private hospital in Hungary – as a consultant of Paediatrics and Anaesthesiology and for 9 years as the Head of the Neonatal and Paediatric department.

She moved to Dubai in 2013 and had been working at Healthbay Policlinic for 7 years and at The Emirates Hospital Clinic Palm for another 3 years. In September 2023 she re-joined HealthBay Clinic as a Specialist Paediatrician and based in Al Wasl Branch . She is continuing her comprehensive care for her patients from new-born to adolescents ages with her immense experience and passion.
