Baby Health Bay at Home service :

Baby Health Bay at Home service is here to help with the transition to parenthood by providing reliable and flexible solutions to your childcare needs, from newborn babies all the way through to older children.

All our Baby Care Assistants need to have excellent childcare-related qualifications or extensive newborn experience. These include Midwifery, Paediatric, Neonatal qualifications and experience along with in some cases early years teaching experience.  They will also have undertaken a Paediatric First Aid and CPR course.

Baby Health Bay at home invests in the ongoing development of its Baby Care Assistants team. Baby Care Assistants are offered free places at Breastfeeding Education Workshops, Baby Yoga and Baby Massage classes and Paediatric First Aid and CPR regularly.

First Aid Training :

Health Bay Polyclinic, Dubai has been delivering the highest level of training for over 3 years. Authorised by the Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services, our courses are quality assured by medical and technical advisory committees, ensuring we teach the latest techniques and revise our course content regularly to meet both INTERNATIONAL and UAE standards.

All of our instructors are registered and practicing healthcare professionals so you can be assured of the highest quality training.

On successful completion of our courses, each delegate will receive a certificate and registration card valid for 3 years. After which we automatically invite you to attend a refresher course.

Courses offered at Health Bay JLT.

• Emergency First Aid and CPR 6 hour course (also known as Senior First Aid and ACLS)

The signature First Aid course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives, including managing the unconscious casualty and performing CPR. It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid.

Most workplaces require a specific number of people to successfully complete this qualification. The Emergency First  First Aid qualification remains current for three years, during which time an Emergency First Aid refresher course must be completed.

• Emergency First Aid in the Workplace, 3 Day course

This first aid course will provide you with the skills to manage emergency first aid situations, including managing the unconscious casualty, performing CPR, controlling bleeding and managing other life threatening situations. It is suitable for people in workplaces who may be ‘designated first aider’ and members of the public who want to be able to manage an emergency first aid situation; the content includes reducing risk, accident reporting and legal responsibilities. It is ideal for managers and supervisors, or those moving towards this level.

• Paediatric Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) also known as PALS 3 hour course*

This course is designed to meet the first aid needs of parents, grandparents, carers in the child care industry and members of the public who may be entrusted with the care of babies and children. This course provides the skills to recognise and then manage a casualty who is unconscious and is not breathing. CPR is a life saving technique which can sustain life until an ambulance arrives.

• Paediatric First Aid 3 hour course*.

This course is designed to meet the first aid needs of parents, grandparents, carers in the child care industry and members of the public who may be entrusted with the care of babies and children.

*these courses are available as one 6 hour session if required.
